For the Sunday something, I was going to post about the post-Easter experience. I may still do that; it was pretty nifty.
But to be honest, I’m so excited I can’t sit still. I finished my taxes. Granted, today’s the 15th, and it’s almost 2300 my time, but, this year we had til the 17th.
Which makes me 2 whole days early! And that, my friends, has never happened.
And now, now, now, with this whole e-filing thing, I have enough of a refund to pay for summer semester. I wasn’t sure how that was going to happen…this time of year, I have a lot of expenses. My car insurance comes due. My tag comes due. My inspection sticker comes due. Granted, that’s all of like $20, but this year I have to get a windshield replaced before I can shell out the mere $20. I also have the balloon payment from my crowns — nothing like oral royalty — that I had to use the rest of my old student loans to pay for.
But this? This is nothing short of happiness.
I wasn’t really all that concerned — I knew it would work itself out one way or another.
But the sense of relief is just …
Yeah.
That good.
