Crazy Love

Sherry and Owen are amazingly beautiful people. Two more beautiful people, in fact, I’d be hard pressed to find.

They are such lovely, giving, inspiring people, and I’m so blessed to have met both of them. They’ve been married for as long as I’ve been alive, and their marriage is an awe-inspiring thing.

I really don’t have words to say what I’m looking to say, so I have this. It’s not Van by himself, but I figure if you have to do a duet, Ray Charles isn’t too shabby a partner.

I love you both, and have no words, so I’ll just listen.

  1. What a beautiful tribute on many levels. and I have actually been on a Van kick myself lately! But to be honest I don’t know half or an eighth of the music you have listed… Best to you in school this semester and the news about dropping out of the ed pgm? Gotta do what you gotta do, right? But you might want to share the Laffy Taffy joke… I do you enjoy your blog!

  2. Despite the eclectic nature of what I like, it is still pretty limited, but Van’s a writer I’ve loved from the first moment I heard him, and it’s very fitting for them.

Thanks for the good wishes for school — I have a heavier load than I expected just taking four classes, and more responsibilities to boot. It’s going to be a long semester.

As for the Laffy Taffy, you do what you gotta do when you’re trying to stay sane.

“Why did the elephant cross the road?”
“It was the chicken’s day off.”

The later at night it is, the more likely a groan will change to a giggle if the groan lasts long enough.

Kinda like my blog *grin* (Seriously, thanks for the compliment!)
